Here

Here is the word I chose to bring in for intention for most of my days.
Here is where I want to be.
Here is where I need to be.

How about you? What's your word for these days?

Here, doesn't sound so bad at all, huh?

It means don't go signing up over THERE for everything. (I would if I could!)
It means don't go living back THEN.  (I am very good at staying awake at night for this.)
It means gift your self and others presence, attention, acceptance, trust, knowing without knowing.

Still, with the intention to be HERE.  I haven't been feeling very here lately. I'm eager to keep those balls up in the air.  And every little ball keeps me busy.  And I've been addicted to busy lately.

And so right here, right now, I'm inviting stillness, presence, and a gift for you and I.

“Attention is the most concrete expression of love. What we pay attention to thrives. What we do not pay attention to withers and dies. What will you pay attention to today?”
― Karen Maezen Miller, Hand Wash Cold: Care Instructions for an Ordinary Life

My attention when most fully expressed has been to directly related to the things I love and need to pay attention which are:
1. An Art Form to Express From
2. The Relationships In My Life
3. My Work in Healing

What's important to you?

What's your top three things that can bring you back to the moment?

What captures your attention?

And from that attention, from that love, from the HERE, I wonder if any of you said, CONNECTION or that you want to read more...if so...

I want to share that I'm closing up sale of "Small Gift," my first poetry chapbook.  A book in which I have already delivered 75 copies to beautiful friends, family, fellow writers, teachers, mothers, healers, and more.  I want you to read it too!

I have a small amount left, only a few copies of the book for snail mail delivery.  You can purchase to hold the poetry close to your heart and lay it on your night stand for only $15 through purchase here. It is sprinkled with the incongruent nature of life.  Up and down. Hope and Lack. Impasse and Growth.

Peace,

Amy
